Iqra Aziz is an actress in Urdu television and one of Pakistan's highest-paid actresses. She is best known for playing socially independent women. Her first role was in the ensemble drama Kissey Apna Kahein (2014). Muqaddas and Mol followed in 2015, and together they won her the Hum Award for Best Television Sensation.
Her range is clearest across a few years. The social dramas brought her the Lux Style Award for Best Actress (Critics). Her biggest popular success was Jiya, a young woman set against marriage, in the comedy Suno Chanda (2018) and Suno Chanda 2 (2019). Those roles won her the Hum Award for Best Actress (Popular) and Lux Style Awards in both the critics and popular categories.
Her more recent dramas, Mannat Murad (2023) and Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet (2024), were less well received. She holds four Hum Awards and three Lux Style Awards, and she is an ambassador for several brands.
She started at 14 as a model in commercials. The producer Momina Duraid then cast her in Kissey Apna Kahein.
