The writer is the first thing many viewers check, and for Rutba the answer is Umera Ahmed, one of Pakistani television’s best-known names. Haseeb Hassan directs. It is ARY Digital’s Monday and Tuesday 8 pm serial and it is still early in its run.
The cast is unusually starry for a weeknight slot: Talha Chahour, Zahid Ahmed, Hiba Bukhari and Mehwish Hayat, with Hiba Qadir.
What we can say about the story
ARY has not published a detailed synopsis that ShowBuzz could verify, and the episode uploads carry no plot recap. What is confirmed is who is playing whom for three of the roles: Zahid Ahmed as Meer, Mehwish Hayat as Shehnaz and Hiba Qadir as Mahnoor. Rather than guess at a plot from promos, this page will add a story outline once ARY or a reliable outlet prints one.
