Ramayana crosses ₹100 crore in two days, Salman Khan locks Maatrubhumi for 4 December, and Tere Bin 2 is shelved for now

Early Day 2 trade for Ramayana: Part One, Salman Khan’s December 4 date for Maatrubhumi, journalist Sheeba Khan’s report that Tere Bin 2 is off for now, Diljit Dosanjh at the Latin Grammys, Adam Driver on Girls and Mister Sinister, and Noor ul Hassan’s entry in Mitti De Baway.

Ramayana: Part One, with Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, entered the ₹100-crore club on its second day. Trade tracker Sacnilk, cited by The Week and Hindustan Times, put India Day 2 at about ₹48.05 crore net, taking the two-day India net to about ₹112.90 crore and India gross to about ₹134.80 crore. Overseas Day 2 was estimated around ₹35 crore, for a worldwide haul near ₹220 crore. These are early trade estimates, not studio-audited totals; the real test is the Diwali weekend after a Thursday–Friday start that still trailed Adipurush’s two-day pace. Separately, Mahesh Babu called Ranbir, Yash and Sai Pallavi “magical” in a social post praising the film, NDTV reported.

Salman Khan announced on Friday 6 November that his delayed war drama Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace will open in theatres on 4 December. Speaking at the trailer launch in Mumbai, he said the team had pushed the date so the visual effects would hold up under close scrutiny after earlier January, June and August targets slipped, Hindustan Times reported. Apoorva Lakhia directs the Galwan-inspired film; Salman plays Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, and Chitrangda Singh co-stars.

The sequel to Pakistan’s hit drama Tere Bin appears to be off for now. Entertainment journalist Sheeba Khan said in a video, reported by 24 News on 6 November, that she had confirmed with the channel that Tere Bin 2 — expected to reunite Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi as Murtasim and Meerab — has been shelved for the time being. She apologised to fans who had waited through shifting shoot rumours, said the project might be reconsidered next year, and asked viewers not to treat unverified social updates as fact. This is her report, not an official studio press note.

Diljit Dosanjh is on the performer line-up for the 27th Latin Grammy Awards on 12 November at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Latin Recording Academy’s 5 November announcement, covered by Hindustan Times and PTI, places him alongside Karol G, Bizarrap and others; his team reacted with “Punjabi AA Gaye Grammy Oye.” The song and staging have not been disclosed.

In Hollywood, Adam Driver confirmed he will not join HBO’s Girls revival. Asked by CinemaBlend whether he would reprise Adam Sackler, he said: “No, but I wish them the best of luck,” The Hollywood Reporter reported on 6 November. Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Andrew Rannells are set to return for the five-episode limited reboot, with production planned for 2027. Separately, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Driver explained why he finally said yes to Marvel’s X-Men reboot as Mister Sinister after years of turning MCU offers down: Jake Schreier’s idea, Kevin Feige and a script he called “really cool” made it “the right time,” Variety reported.

On Pakistani television, Noor ul Hassan has joined Green Entertainment’s Mitti De Baway as DSP Nawaz Khan opposite Mahira Khan’s Billo. 24 News reported that their Episode 14 confrontation flips Billo’s attempt to pressure him, with viewers praising his entry. The Faiza Iftikhar serial, directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain, also stars Wahaj Ali.
