The story
Afzal is a small-town young man who has failed often enough that his own house has a joke ready. He loves a girl who is studying toward a life that does not include him, and he loves her without becoming respectable on a schedule.
Hamza Ali Abbasi plays Afzal. Ayeza Khan plays the girl, Farah. The HUM serial is still quoted for the way it lets a hero be foolish, proud and kind in the same scene.
