The story
Set in the older Punjab of the writer’s own family story, Sadqay Tumhare is a cousin-marriage tragedy told at a slower pace than the Karachi serials around it. Mahira Khan plays the heroine. Adnan Malik plays the cousin.
HUM aired it in 2014–15. It stays on the list because it is one of the few serials of that boom that is about a specific place and a specific older social rule, not a generic rich house.
