Mahira Khan
ماہرہ خان
Actress · Born 21 December 1984, Karachi
Mahira Hafeez Khan is a Karachi-born actress who became a household name as Khirad in Humsafar (2011) opposite Fawad Khan. She has since led spiritual, romantic and social dramas including Shehr-e-Zaat and Sadqay Tumhare, and the 2015 film Bin Roye. In 2026 she is on Green Entertainment in Mitti De Baway, playing Billo opposite Wahaj Ali.
Born 21 December 1984, Karachi.
Before Humsafar she was already a familiar face in advertising. The 2011 serial made Khirad a national part, and Shehr-e-Zaat the next year showed she could play a woman the audience is allowed to judge. Sadqay Tumhare (2014–15) took her into a period romance. Bin Roye, the 2015 film with Humayun Saeed, was her move into cinema at home.
In 2017 she appeared opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees. The film’s release in Pakistan became its own political argument, separate from the performance. She has kept working mainly in Pakistani cinema and television since. In 2026 she is on Green Entertainment in Mitti De Baway, as Billo, opposite Wahaj Ali.

Mahira Hafeez Khan was born on 21 December 1984 in Karachi. Advertising came before acting. Humsafar (2011), as Khirad, made her the face of the drama boom. Shehr-e-Zaat (2012) and Sadqay Tumhare (2014–15) showed she was not only that one part. Bin Roye (2015) and Superstar (2019) are the Pakistani films. Raees (2017) is the Hindi film, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Its release at home became a political fight separate from the performance.

Awards and honours
- Hum Awards and Lux Style Awards have both cited Humsafar-era work. Ceremony pages disagree on the exact trophy title from year to year, so this page does not pin a single statuette it has not re-opened the original winner list for.
