Ahsan Khan

Ahsan Khan is an actor, producer and television host who was born in London and raised in Lahore, where he earned a master's degree in English literature at Government College University. He started acting young: his first film, Nikah, came in 1998 when he was 16, and through the early years he worked in Lahore cinema with titles such as Billi, Ghar Kab Aao Gay, Sultanat, Ishq Khuda and Dil Mera Dhadkan Teri before moving to television.

The part that changed how audiences saw him was the hardest one to play. In Udaari (2016) he took on a child abuser and predator, a negative lead that earned wide acclaim because the drama refused to look away from its subject. A year later he went the other way entirely with the romantic comedy film Chupan Chupai opposite Neelam Muneer, which was a commercial success. Alongside acting he has hosted Ramadan programming, including the quiz Hayya Allal Falah and PTV Home's Ramazan Pakistan transmission over several years.

Away from the camera, the Children's Literature Festival appointed him a goodwill ambassador on 30 July 2019. On this guide his work runs from Udaari and Alif to the 2026 serials Zanjeerain, where he plays Sher Dil, and Aap Ki Izzat, where he plays Tabish.
