Mikaal Zulfiqar
Actor and former model
Mikaal Zulfiqar is a London-born actor and former model who moved to Pakistan and began modelling in the early 2000s. His break into the screen came through music: the team of singer Abrar-ul-Haq cast him in the video for Sanu Tere Naal Pyar Ho Gya, and that exposure led to acting work on both sides of the border.
His film career started in Hindi cinema. He made his debut in the 2007 crime thriller Godfather and followed it with Shoot on Sight (2008), U R My Jaan (2011) and Baby (2015). In Pakistan he took a supporting part in the acclaimed film Cake (2018), then led Na Band Na Baraati (2018) and Sherdil (2019). Television has been the steadier home. He entered it with Saiqa (2009), and Pani Jaisa Piyar (2011) secured his place. In 2015 he won the Best Actor (Popular) award at the Hum TV Awards for Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai.
On ShowBuzz he connects three eras of drama. He plays Salman in Shehr-e-Zaat (2012), appears in Haseeb Hassan's family saga Diyar-e-Dil (2015), and in 2026 is on air as Mohtashim in Khafa.
