Fawad Khan
فواد خان
Actor, singer · Born 29 November 1981, Lahore
Fawad Afzal Khan is a Pakistani actor, songwriter and former lead singer of Entity Paradigm. Television made him a cross-border star, above all as Ashar in Humsafar and Zaroon in Zindagi Gulzar Hai. He also played Hassan in the partition serial Dastaan.
Born 29 November 1981, Lahore.
He was the singer of the band Entity Paradigm before he was Ashar. Humsafar (2011) and Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012–13) made him the actor Indian audiences asked for by name. Dastaan, as Hassan, is the third serial that still defines him at home. He studied at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. He was born in Lahore on 29 November 1981.
Khoobsurat (2014) and Kapoor & Sons (2016) were the Hindi films. After the 2016 freeze on Pakistani artists in India, that work stopped. The Legend of Maula Jatt, the Pakistani film he was promoting in the 2022 photograph on this page, put him back in cinemas at home. The picture is a Voice of America Urdu frame, public domain, from that promotion.
